- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I live in the eastern section of Birmingham. I had read an article about Dr. Kirk Wright when he opened Heritage Animal Clinic saying his goals were to offer low cost spay/neuter services as well as reasonably priced animal care services for an underserved area. The first animal I took to Dr. Wright was a kitten I had rescued with a seriously injured eye that needed to be removed. I found Dr. Wright and his staff caring, professional and efficient and his cost for this surgery very reasonable. I have since taken my dog and other cats to Heritage for a variety of services and have had a positive experience each time. One thing I truly appreciate is that Dr. Wright respects the knowledge I've acquired in decades of rescuing and caring for cats myself. It is a pleasant 20 minute drive on I59 to the Springville/Odenville exit to Heritage Animal Care and well worth the time.March 19, 2017by Kathy Stiles Freeland
